Benilda Malinao-Oliquino is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with almost 30 years of nursing experience mostly in critical care, cardiology, and acute care settings. She had worked in the Philippines, United Kingdom and John Muir Health system for 15 years. She is currently the president of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses of the Alameda and Contra Costa County chapter.

She completed her FNP program at Sonoma State University in 2020 and had her residency with the Contra Costa Health Services and Bass Medical group. She presented studies on delirium screening in the ICU, as well as therapeutic approaches for mental health recovery among those with dual disorders.

She is BLS, ACLS and CCRN certified. She holds certification in emergency nursing, wound care and medication assisted treatment (MAT).

She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) and the Northern California Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM).

She joined the Bass Medical group Spine and Pain Clinic of Dr. Mallavaram on October 12, 2021. She continues to work per diem at a regenerative clinic, and as a provider of the covid-19 vaccination in the Bay area.

She is also an active member of the catholic church in Brentwood and volunteers in charity events. She is a mother of 2, and is an avid traveler whenever time permits.
